Tsumiki Workshop
Tsumiki is the Japanes word for wooden building blocks. You might of seen Tsumiki on social media showing how in Japan Tsumiki is wide spread and is being heavily linked with helping children in maths, spacial awareness and logic. This form of play offers fun through creativity and develops skills through imagination. We are stripping back all stimulants to bring out a child's inner creativity through the simplicity of different sized wooden building blocks. Each workshop is supplied with 100's of blocks so the creative possibilities are endless!!
Relaxing, inclusive play sessions for children of all abilities, ages 1 to 6 years old.
At Tsumiki Workshop, we encourage children's imagination and cognitive growth through play with wooden building blocks. Our team members create a nurturing space for children with all abilitiess, aged 1 to 6 years old.

Benefits of creating with wooden building blocks
Our playgroups provide a joyful environment where children develop essential skills such as creativity, problem-solving, fine motor skills and social interaction through wooden block building activities. In a world of over stimulation with television, tablets, electronic toys and bright colours, our workshops are designed to give childrens imagination the opportunity to flourish.
Stay-and-playgroup
As a "Stay and Playgroup," parents and carers remain responsible for their children throughout the session. However, our relaxed atmosphere allows you to play alongside your child, meet other local parents and carers, and have a chat and chill out over a nice hot drink.
Safe environment
We provide secure, well-maintained environments tailored for young children to enjoy creative play. We separate all our blocks and sterilise each block individually on a weekly basis to give parents and carers peace of mind.
Little ones
We offer a separate area for younger children, to give them their own space and smaller building blocks to suit their little hands. The Toddler Tsumiki Workshop is for ages 1 and 2 years old.
